Christmas Day

A wonderful day had by us all :o)

Elliot in her Vets Outfit,
bless her she wore it all day

Darcy and her boundle of toys from santa

Elliot wanted some cars and a ramp that she had seen at the Early learning centre, every time she went in she played with it. so when she opened a box of cars she started telling me we needed a ramp for them to run down totally ignoring the other very big box from grandpa tony, so when we had discussed we could put a piece of card running from the top of the box she hadn't opened for her cars she agreed to open the parcel. once she had ripped the paper off and saw the picture on the box she screamed with delight "its the ramp mummy it the ramp" while bouncing around it was the cutest thing to see bless her she could hardly contain herself while i put it together she then played with it for a good couple of hours and wouldn't let anyone else have a go :o) think she liked all the noise it makes to.

this is Daddy & Darcy after we had opened our presents in the morning they needed a quick nap to keep up with Mummy and Elliot :o)

The girls having a lovely cuddle after a long lovely day :o)

Elliot obsessed with Baby Jesus

quiet fortuitously Fenwicks window was the nativity story, so off to Newcastle the family went very early so as no need to Que, and bless we managed to see the window twice in its entirety, firstly me telling Elliot the story then the second time Elliot telling us the story, then about an hour later she wanted to see it again but this time we had to join a long que :o( but the funniest thing was Elliot telling daddy that he was wrong when talking to her about the story and her putting him right :o) bless her.
for the first time nursery put on a nativity play, and Elliot was a reindeer, but sadly for all our little girl is generally a character she really didn't enjoy the nativity she was really shy and quiet upset due to so many people looking at eh kids on stage bless, but she loved the present she received off Santa. a pepper pig doctors kit, witch she instantly used on her dolly bless, who consistently was baby Jesus in the nativity play :o) and then when we got home she willingly put on her reindeer antlers so we could get a smiley picture rather than a teary one :o)

Darcy's first snow

Darcy's first experience of snow! it is snowing in the pics but only lightly so it doesnt look as tho it is, fingers crossed will snow more so we can get batter pics :o).

New hair cut

Mummy thought it can't be that hard to trim Elliot's hair, oh how wrong i was, she wouldn't sit still :o( thought it looked OK until she was walking down the corridor and it was plain to see it wasn't straight at the back, so off to mummy's hair dresser we went and they did a fantastic job should have taken her there in the first place instead of a hair dresser i didn't know then i may not of been tempted. but Daddy informs me its a right of passage as a mummy to cut your child's hair at some point, well i wont be doing it again :o) but bless she looks fab and that's all that matters :o)

Tree and Friends

Elliot helping to dress the tree, especially getting the honer of putting on the angel, its the first year mummy hasn't done the tree on her own :o)
then off to the discovery museum with our friends Debbie and Stan, its the first time they had met Darcy and had been a while since we had been to the museum Elliot loved it and just hasn't stopped talking about it, think we may need to go back as a family. forgot how much she loved the section that was about communication, as seen in photo you put a ball in the tube and cover the hole the ball goes up over your head and down and out the tube across the room. we even found a new shadow maker that she loved playing with, bless her. and Darcy as usual slept for most of the day :o)

1st week of december

and what a way to start December, Elliot remembered that her advent calendar had chocolates in it from last year, what a memory!
later that week we bought our first real tree, but bless Elliot she seemed more interested in the horses in the Field, and her face was a picture when one came to see her!
then we went to see Santa, and as you can see Elliot was thrilled to see him until it was her turn and suddenly was extremely shy she only really looked at him when he gave her a present (a book, witch went down really well), but that's progress from last year when she wouldn't really look at him at all, she even answered his questions just very quietly, bless her. and she let us get a nice photo :o) even Darcy got a present from Santa a little teddy bear and bless her she did her usual trick and slept thought the whole thing, including the hour wait to see Santa. maybe next year she will be more interested, and Elliot not so shy :o)
